About Us

More-2-Life's work began in 2014. Several members began making makeup bags to donate to homeless women's shelters. The small cosmetic bags were bought with money donated by friends and family, and contained mascara, eyeliner, lip gloss, nail polish, nail files, and hair clips and bands. Women are harshly judged by appearance, and these women are trying to start their lives over. They have to skill train and get jobs, usually facing the public. The idea was to do something nice, something useful and give friends and family the opportunity to make a real difference they could be a part of to the end.

At the beginning of 2016, we began making survival bags to hand out on the streets of Denver, Colorado. The bags include tarps, toothbrushes and toothpaste, ibuprofen, band aids, triple antibiotic ointment, gloves, socks, hats, shaving razors, toenail clippers, sunscreen, etc. The idea was to help people survive on the streets the best way we could. We can't house every homeless person right now, but we can do something, and other people want to be able to do something, too.

On November 9th, 2016, we filed for 501(c)(3) status in order to further our ideas, expand our capabilities and do more to help our homeless brother and sisters. Our goals are still forming and small at this time, but they do include finding permanent solutions to homelessness. We are 100% non-profit; all of our Board Members are non-compensated volunteers.
